On Thursday, my friend, Adela, and I ventured north to Lake George, NY because we wanted to spend some time together before school started and before the idea of "free time" vanished from existence. So... you can kind of say we went on a date. :)

It was a wonderful day and a beautiful view. Days and places like this always bring me back to a state of tranquility that I truly cherish. I didn't really dress extravagantly; my outfit was meant to be functional with a touch of flirty, as every beach outfit should be! Alright, enough about me...

It feels like it's been so long since the last EBEW challenge, but I've been anticipating this one like no other! You wouldn't believe it, but I used to dislike obnoxiously colored pants with a fiery passion! What changed? I stopped looking at the people that wore them wrong! Trust me... it IS, in fact, possible to wear colored pants wrong. The first time I was exposed to someone wearing colored pants, she paired her hot pink jeans with a white studded rainbow belt, an ill-fitting neon tee (tucked in), matching hair extensions, and Nike Air Max sneakers. Not the greatest inspiration. Here's how I wore my bright yellow pants!

Another interesting fact: Two weeks ago, I had only two pairs of colored pants and they were both purple. Now I have two red, two purple, and one yellow! I don't include cargo, khaki pants or any neutral colored pants in the "colored pants" category. To me, colored pants are unconventional colors: red, pink, electric blue, yellow, etc.

Can't let the sun steal all my shine. :) I can't wait until I own hot pink or kelly green tailored pants! With the perfect pair of chunky heels, I think I could rule the world with that outfit! I'm excited to see how everyone else rocked this challenge!

Wow, 21 days flies by quickly doesn't it?!

Day 21: I want you to take all your newfound fashion confidence and ability and put together a killer outfit and strut your stuff! You betta believe there are bonus points up for grabs here. Work with your own style and come up with something really awesome. It can be over the top or understated or vibrant or monochrome or whatever you want. Create an outfit you're proud of and I will be so very proud of YOU.

I actually am proud of this look! I love how simple things can really make all the difference. The way I style my hair. The jewelry I choose to wear. Patterns and/or solids. I feel casually and comfortably chic! I'm wearing my remix item! This time I'm wearing as a "jacket" or "cardigan" of sorts. It's super lightweight and a tad bit sheer so you can see my vertical stripes through it! I love this tank/dress/shirt/I don't really know what it is! It's my sister's. It reminds me of a circus tent. A very fashionable circus tent. She should let me have it. Hehehe...

This challenge has made getting dressed so much easier! I'm really going to miss it! Most of the time putting outfits much quicker than usual. Other times I wanted to rip my hair out! Kayla of Freckles In April has been a wonderful challenge host and I really hope she does something like this again! I had so much fun!

I'm actually finding this 21 Day Challenge fun! Today started out on the colder side so I threw on a long sleeve. I wanted to wear a sweater, too, but I realized it would get hotter later in the day.

Day 2: For Tuesday, I am asking you to tuck. You can tuck anyway you want, but some part of your outfit must be tucked!

Here's my tuck!

Nothing too fancy about it. A simple front tuck. I just really love the colors of the outfit. This morning I went to Plato's Closet (again! Last time, I promise.) to sell my sister's shoes for BARELY any profit, and to use my $10 of $50 coupon. Sigh. You win some, you lose some. I feel like this outfit is a win though. Anyone agree?
