Day 3
I'm normally not a t-shirt person, so, when I put this white tee on with this outfit, I immediately disliked everything about it. The shirt seemed way too casual for the blazer. So I found a scarf, belted it and, basically, covered the entire shirt. You can barely tell it exists in the outfit. (The cream blazer I'm wearing is my forgotten 30th item.)

What I'm Wearing
Cream Blazer: thrifted
White Pocket T-Shirt: Talbots
Aztec Print Scarf: Charlotte Russe
Black Skinny Belt: H&M
Leather Patched Leggings: H&M
Studded Booties: C Label from Charlotte Russe

Day 4
November 4, 2013 was Black Solidarity Day. For those of you who don't know, Black Solidarity day is the first Monday of November and is observed annually on the Monday before Election Day to remind the nation, and people of African descent across the diaspora of the collective strength and political power of the Black Community.

In honor and celebration of the cause, we are encouraged to wear all black and, go figure, I don't have one black shirt in the 30 items I chose to wear this month. So, I'd like to introduce you to my leather suit. (I do have an inner shirt underneath that jacket though--and layered tights again!. It's cold out here!)

What I'm Wearing
Leather Jacket & Skater Skirt: H&M
Snakeskin Leggings: H&M
Vertical Striped Tights: River Island
Studded Booties: C Label from Charlotte Russe

What I'm Wearing
Coral Scarf: XSRE | Earrings: Charlotte Russe | Cuff Bracelet: Yard Sale
"Africa" Wooden Necklace: c/o my friend/this post's photographer, Helmi
Black Peacoat: H&M ($5)
Gray Sweater: H&M Men's ($15)
White Studded Collar Button Up: Forever 21 (my sister's closet)
Teal Pants: H&M ($15)
Taupe Booties: I.N.C. Shoes ($21)

In honor of my last post, I thought I'd put together a look that was inspired by Pinterest! Here's my inspiration (Pretty much exact!):

I loved the combination of gray, teal and white when I saw the outfit and I thought coral would be a lovely addition and it worked!

I got dressed before I realized it was snowing outside and I didn't want to go through the trouble of changing my shoes, so I walked everywhere in my booties and it certainly wasn't as difficult as I thought!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this outfit. It screams winter! (My ears are still ringing!) And my friend, Helmi, did such a wonderful job taking pictures of it (that's why there are so many. I feel slightly vain, but choosing which ones to feature was the hardest part!) And he was a great director as well. We ended up taking over 100 pictures. And I ended up getting very "diva" and very cold!

All worth it, though!

What I'm Wearing
Navy Cape: ASOS ($22)
Cream Pashmina Scarf: Forever 21 ($7)
Earrings & Cuff Bracelet: Forever 21
Necklaces: Delia's (gift)
Cream Oversize Blouse: H&M ($15)
Mustard Skirt: Forever 21 (gift)
Cream Sweater Tights: Forever 21 ($7)
Taupe Booties: I.N.C. Shoes ($21)

As you've probably noticed, I am a huge fan of fall color combos. I guess I can thank the environment for that. My friends have developed a pretty good eye thanks to having to photograph me so often and, now, they are always on the lookout for a good area to shoot. Jasmine informed me of this bridge and I knew that I'd fall in love with any pictures I took on or around it (and by the amount of pictures in this post, you can see that I wasn't lying!) I technically dressed to compliment my surroundings. I had never seen or visited the bridge, but I had a feeling that solid colors that stood out (not too loudly) would do the area justice.

Oh! About the outfit, I'm wearing the blouse backwards! I wore it normally in this outfit and you can see that it has a pocket to my right. When I had purchased it, I noticed the pleats on the back and thought it was the front! So I thought, why not switch things up?!
